About to leave for Oklahoma City Airport to go to Utah and Montana on a fly fishing trip. I'm so excited!!

I'll miss my friends and Rowdy.

Birthday Full of Smiles

People (like the three that read this)...I had a great birthday yesterday. I smiled all day. The 17th of June started off with a great email from the Marketing Director for Buffalo Wild Wings saying he would purchase a sign for the stadium...next, a big cookie cake and a hilarious card from my co workers. Nice texts, calls and messages...two cards in the mail from Rowdy's family in Waurika. Rowdy picking me up for dinner with great friends, a perfect card from him. People over at the house and lots of laughs. WAY FREAKIN' better than my last birthday that resulted in tears and slapping a guy, I won't mention his name, in the face. HA! The only good thing about last years birthday was that Cort and Rich and Lola were a few doors down.

I've very blessed for the people in my life. Thank you to all those who made the effort to make my day the best:)

Windy Waurika

Who knew that some of the best times in my young life would be in the state of Oklahoma! This place is not your typical Oklahoma though...it's beautiful and a place I will miss considering I won't be able to get back there until the 4th of July probably:/ Before I left yesterday, I sat on a big rick that overlooks the lake and just took it all in. 

It was a very windy weekend on the Lake, which isn't all so great for fishing...that didn't stop us from trying though. Friday night we all went out on the pontoon boat and set up jug lines with bait, then fished off the slips. I caught a decent sized sand bass and a few other little ones, Rowdy caught a nice catfish. We also had some GREAT spaghetti that night that Pabble (Rowdy's Grandma) made...good Lord delicious!

Saturday morning....6am...Rowdy comes in my room and turns on the light..."Come on girl, let's go catch us some fish"...not much luck in the morning...Rowdy and I both caught a catfish (mine was bigger:)), but when we went out in the afternoon, I caught the biggest fish I ever have...6.5 lbs Hybrid (sand bass/striper cross). Chelby and Rowdy both caught a catfish. No luck on the jug lines, but we re-baited them anyway and tried again. We had some GREAT burgers that night...had one again the next day for lunch.

Sunday morning....515am...Rowdy comes in and pops my head with a pillow, I hit him back and we both laugh. We catch bait (I drove the boat a bit...that was stressful haha)...go out on the white caps (wind was insane) and didn't catch crap. Afternoon...nothing. Evening....nothing. We fished ALL DAY just about. Rowdy even tried singing to the fish...surprised that didn't work...but it made me and chelby laugh hysterically! That night we ate left overs...and Rowdy and I headed back home. I was sad to leave. So was he. When we got home, we went over to a friends house and played washers in the rain. I had never played before but made some clutch shots and got better:) It was a lot of fun. Then I drove home (the brothers...tim gary and lenny) were happy to see me:)

Another great weekend. I can't wait until the 4th of July.

There She Goes, There She Goes Again

You know where I'm gonna be....third weekend in a row. I look forward to using the two new fishing poles my rowdy got for me for my birthday. Thanks:) Another big fish picture to hang on my door at work I hope!

WFISD

I'm busting my butt to sell Wichita Falls Independent School District stadium signage...It's a lot of work...a lot of calling and miles of driving. I get anxious every time I have to make a phone call. These need to ALL be sold by the end of the month...I have not sold any but many are already on the hook...now I just have to reel them in haha. Anyway, I'm exhausted already even though I get 8-9 hours of sleep every night...this selling business it tough. I'm about to buy one and just have my face on it haha. 

Fishin' Weekend

Like I said on Friday, I was back at the lake in Waurika this weekend. I love it more and more every time I go. And miss more every time I have to come back home. We fished almost the whole time and I got more tan than I've been in my whole life. And I got the biggest fish I've ever caught...pretty exciting! Rowdy and I got up early each more to go out on the boat and fish. Not always very successful. The sea doo's were fun too....except that the one paige and derek were on crapped out on us all the way across the lake and our sea doo had to tow it back in...took about 45 minutes! The weather was perfect....90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!! I hope we go back this weekend. Sunday was the day of sun and success. We fished early in the morning with no luck...Rowdy had to fix the engine of the boat in the middle of the lake and dove in the water to save the starter fluid can. Then later on, Chelby and I watched Matt and Rowdy cast net for live bait (shad) and then we caught four huge Hybrids late that afternoon. I had the first big catch and Rowdy and Chelb followed closely after.  Enjoy the pictures:)
